According to Pirkei Avot, “The world rests on three things: Torah, worship and acts of loving kindness.” In keeping with the spirti of this passage, our students met with a Torah scribe, studied the parsha, worshiped, and helped to feed the hungry by assembling a Thanksgiving bagged lunch during Torah Fest on Sunday, November 15th. Our 5th grade students, pictured above, created warm scarfs to be dontated with the lunches.
